Wellness and Medical Programs
Fibromyalgia Wellness Program – Class is designed to help individuals who suffer from fibromyalgia. You will learn about pain management techniques, improve daily function through education and exercise. Several classes each week such as: Qi Gong, chair yoga, meditation classes, and lectures.
Focus on Healing Class – A therapeutic movement class that helps to reduce pain, increased energy, relieve depression, improve positive self image, increase range of motion and stimulation of immune system. The class is designed for individuals recovering from illness such as breast cancer or lymphedema, or anyone wanting to improve their energy and mobility.
Chair Yoga Class
Chair Yoga Class – This class is a gentle form of Yoga designed for those individuals that may have difficulty coming down or getting up from the floor. All Yoga poses and salutations will be performed in a chair. You will experience all of the benefits of a yoga class without the complicated maneuvers.
Qi Gong Class – A slow-paced, simple movement class. This healing art helps alleviate joint and muscle aches, increases energy and deepens breathing. This class is excellent for individuals with chronic conditions such as MS, fibromyalgia, cancer and diabetes.
Specialty Programs
Yoga – Riverside Health Fitness Center offers a variety of yoga programs for every level including: Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga and Advanced Yoga. Yoga helps increase flexibility, strength and endurance, improve balance, improves focus and concentration, detoxifies organs, reduces stress, provides a sense of peace and well being.
Pilates Allegro – Classes are conducted in a small group (maximum 4) using an Allegro machine. This class develops core control, strength, flexibility, alignment, coordination and balance. After completing the three levels of classes you will be able to work out on the equipment on your own during member work out times! Note: The instructor will advise you at the end of the session, if you are ready to move on to the next class.

Kinesis Class

Rock Climbing
Rock Climbing – Rock Climbing is one of the more extreme sports today. Our instructor holds over 36 years of climbing experience! He enjoys working with people and giving them the opportunity to experience outdoor fitness!
